Becoming a Franchisee
Beginning with just one location, Rocky has since grown to include over 45 locations throughout Canada and is proud to be one of the most recognizable chocolate brands within the country. Caramel Apples
Are any of your caramel apples vegan?
Unfortunately at this time none of our caramel apples are vegan as we use dairy products to make our caramel from scratch.
What is the shelf life of your caramel apples?
Our apples are best eaten fresh, or 2-5 days after purchase. If you had your apple sliced to share in-store we recommend consuming it within the same day of purchase.
Chocolate
How do I store my chocolate?
We recommend storing your chocolate in a cool, dry place. The ideal storage temperature is 12-21 degrees celsius. If chocolate is stored in temperatures too cold or warm it may bloom.
What is Bloom?
If you have ever seen chocolate with odd looking white patches, you have seen chocolate bloom. Blooming is a process where the fats and sugars of the chocolate re-solidify, and become visible on the outer surface of the chocolate shell. This can look like whitish “dust” or “frost” on the surface of the chocolate. While this does not affect the flavor of the chocolate, it can look somewhat unappealing, but you can definitely still eat it!
What is the shelf life of your chocolate?
Most of our chocolate has a standard shelf life of 6-12 months, but for maximum deliciousness, enjoy right away. We won't judge.
Where do you source your chocolate?
We source our chocolate from Guittard chocolate who are proud members of the World Cocoa Foundation which promotes sustainability in cocoa farmers, supports Fair Trade and takes steps to verify that the farms they source from do not use slavery or human trafficking. Are there discounts on large orders?
Yes. Please contact corp@rockychoc.com or contact your local store to see if your order qualifies for corporate discounts.
Custom Orders
What is the timeline for custom orders?
This will vary depending on how large the order is and what is being customized. If you are ordering through our head office please allow a minimum of 4-5 weeks after final product approval. This does not include delivery time.
If you are placing a custom order through any of our other locations please contact the store directly with any questions you may have in regards to custom orders.
Gift Cards
How can I check the balance of my gift card?
To check the balance of your gift card you can send a photo of the back of your gift card to rockyinfo@rockychoc.com or an associate can check the balance of your card in-store at any time.
Where can I purchase a Rocky MTN Chocolate gift card?
Gift cards can be purchased in-store, at any location, or online.
Why can’t I use my gift card online?
While gift cards may be purchased online, they can only be redeemed in-store at this time.
Why was I told that my gift card was deactivated?
If you received your gift card as a prize for participating in one of our contests, please note that prizes are only valid for 1 year after the card's initial activation. If you believe there was an error please contact rockyinfo@rockychoc.com. Due to past fraud issues we had to deactivate cards that had not been used recently or were not registered to a customer account. If you believe your card was affected please contact rockyinfo@rockychoc.com.

Can I order items for Same-Day Delivery?

Will I earn Rocky Rewards points when I order Rocky MTN Same-Day Delivery?
Rock MTN delivery is currently not eligible for Rocky Rewards points.

Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
We can ship our products overseas but do not recommend doing so for a variety of reasons. The main ones being spoilage during transport as well as customs, which have the right to open and inspect all packages. We are especially weary when it comes to shipping perishable items and fresh fruit such as caramel apples. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
I’ve ordered from your online shop before, why does it say I’m not eligible for shipping?
When you place an order with us online, our system searches for the nearest store to you within the delivery radius that has the items you're looking for. We unfortunately don’t allow items from one order to be shipped separately from different locations as the shipping costs are incredibly high.
In these cases we recommend that you contact our head office at rockyinfo@rockychoc.com and provide the address you are wanting your items shipped to, and the items you are interested in. From there we will do our best to assist you with your order.
Why is shipping so expensive?
We do our best to charge the least amount possible for shipping with our negotiated carrier rates and pass them off to our customers.
I wanted my order to arrive on a certain day, why has it already been delivered?
While we do our best to accommodate order requests we cannot guarantee delivery dates or times, especially when we rely on local delivery and postal services.
