What kind of apple do you use for your caramel apples?
We always use fresh, extra fancy, green granny smith apples. Their slightly tart taste pairs perfectly with our handcrafted caramel and rich chocolate.

Unfortunately at this time none of our caramel apples are vegan as we use dairy products to make our caramel from scratch.
Our apples are best eaten fresh, or 2-5 days after purchase. If you had your apple sliced to share in-store we recommend consuming it within the same day of purchase.
We recommend storing your chocolate in a cool, dry place. The ideal storage temperature is 12-21 degrees celsius. If chocolate is stored in temperatures too cold or warm it may bloom.
If you have ever seen chocolate with odd looking white patches, you have seen chocolate bloom. Blooming is a process where the fats and sugars of the chocolate re-solidify, and become visible on the outer surface of the chocolate shell. This can look like whitish “dust” or “frost” on the surface of the chocolate. While this does not affect the flavor of the chocolate, it can look somewhat unappealing, but you can definitely still eat it!
Most of our chocolate has a standard shelf life of 6-12 months, but for maximum deliciousness, enjoy right away. We won't judge.
We source our chocolate from Guittard chocolate who are proud members of the World Cocoa Foundation which promotes sustainability in cocoa farmers, supports Fair Trade and takes steps to verify that the farms they source from do not use slavery or human trafficking. This will vary depending on how large the order is and what is being customized. If you are ordering through our head office please allow a minimum of 4-5 weeks after final product approval. This does not include delivery time.
If you are placing a custom order through any of our other locations please contact the store directly with any questions you may have in regards to custom orders.
To check the balance of your gift card you can send a photo of the back of your gift card to info@rockychoc.com or an associate can check the balance of your card in-store at any time.
Gift cards can be purchased in-store, at any location, or online.
While gift cards may be purchased online, they can only be redeemed in-store at this time.
If you received your gift card as a prize for participating in one of our contests, please note that prizes are only valid for 1 year after the card's initial activation. If you believe there was an error please contact info@rockychoc.com. Due to past fraud issues we had to deactivate cards that had not been used recently or were not registered to a customer account. If you believe your card was affected please contact info@rockychoc.com.

We can ship our products overseas but do not recommend doing so for a variety of reasons. The main ones being spoilage during transport as well as customs, which have the right to open and inspect all packages. We are especially weary when it comes to shipping perishable items and fresh fruit such as caramel apples. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
When you place an order with us online, our system searches for the nearest store to you within the delivery radius that has the items you're looking for. We unfortunately don’t allow items from one order to be shipped separately from different locations as the shipping costs are incredibly high.
In these cases we recommend that you contact our head office at info@rockychoc.com and provide the address you are wanting your items shipped to, and the items you are interested in. From there we will do our best to assist you with your order.
We do our best to charge the least amount possible for shipping with our negotiated carrier rates and pass them off to our customers.
While we do our best to accommodate order requests we cannot guarantee delivery dates or times, especially when we rely on local delivery and postal services.
