Our Founders
Rocky Mtn Chocolate was founded in 1988 in Whistler, BC, by husband-and-wife duo Brian and Tammi Kerzner. Fueled by a passion for chocolate and business, they transformed their vision into a beloved national brand. Their unwavering dedication to quality and craftsmanship has helped Rocky flourish, with over 45 franchise locations spanning coast to coast.
Every treat is made by hand in small batches, ensuring each bite is as unique as the experience of visiting our stores.
1988
Rocky opens it’s doors in the heart of Whistler, welcoming chocolate and confection lovers from near and far.
1990
Rocky expands East and opens their first location in Winnipeg, MB.
2000
Our signature peak-shaped gift box is born. A modern spin on the traditional rectangle shape which has developed into our beautiful Peak Collection we produce today.
2015
Rocky creates our bestselling 'Bombs'. Smooth chocolate, wrapped in caramel & chocolate, flavoured to perfection.
2020
Rocky launches the Meltdown, bite-sized chocolate peaks that deliver an irresistibly creamy and velvety smooth experience.
